Unpack and assemble everything before you take off, as tedious as that sounds, because there were things that either didn't function properly or not at all and the enjoyment of the trip was affected. The table was so wobbly we couldn't use it. Also, set up the sleeping areas so you can lay down and get an idea of the space. The space is tight and can feel cramped with 4 people, esp if you're a tall person. It's an older vehicle that's been well-used, so discuss/negotiate the hire price accordingly (especially if you're the first-time hirer of this camper, as you will notice more things than the owner knows about). Be prepared to continue communicating with owner/hirer about anything that comes up as he's very helpful and accommodating. It's a quaint little camper if you're going for a basic and budget-friendly option. If voice it 4 stars
